Fiona Law, Expressive Arts Therapy

My Story Starts from "Stress"
I used to work in finance and journalism.
In high-pressure working environment, I often found myself not good enough. Gradually, I felt lost and started to doubt my self-worth.
From time to time, I suffered from anxiety, bad sleep, and eventually lost balance in life.
Turn to the Arts
When stress was building up, I instinctively turned to my lifelong passions - dance and music - to reconnect with my inner strengths and value.
Mindful breathing helped me stay grounded when trading bonds in the day time, while art making calmed my nerves at night.
This journey revealed to me the profound therapeutic power of the arts, inspiring me to study and practice expressive arts therapy.

Become a Therapist
My experience inspired myself to study and practice expressive arts therapy. My years spent in banking and journalism allowed me to connect with the stress and tension that high-calibre professionals constantly experience in their daily life.
Today, as a registered arts therapist, I blend in visual arts, music, dance and movement, drama and creative writing to support individuals navigating stress, emotional challenges, and relationship struggles.
Let's Walk Together
Art speaks beyond words, and I believe everyone has that voice within. Sometimes, all we need is a space to express it and someone to walk with you.
